MotoGP™ Fantasy action returns as momentum builds in Spain

Round 4 is moments away and there are some big decisions to be made in MotoGP™ Fantasy!

MotoGP™ Fantasy is back as the paddock returns to Europe for Round 4 of the 2024 season in what is looking to be an unpredictable weekend. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) continues to lead both the Championship and Fantasy standings, however, Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) are closing the gap, with everything up for grabs this weekend. Let’s take a deeper dive into the Fantasy stats ahead of the Gran Premio Estrella Galicia 0,0 de España!

Who were the top riders in America?

After a thrilling Americas GP, Viñales emerged as the top rider with 52 points, after taking pole position and winning both the Sprint and the MotoGP™ race on Sunday. Red Bull GASGAS Tech3’s Pedro Acosta was chasing behind, taking 35 points, thanks to a second consecutive podium after finishing second.

Bastianini secured a second podium at the Americas GP, with Martin finishing off the podium for the first time this season, crossing the line in fourth and ending the weekend as the two of the other best riders from the weekend.

Viñales’ incredible weekend and Aleix Espargaro’s (Aprilia Racing) top 10 finish on Sunday saw Aprilia Racing end the Americas GP as the team of the weekend. The Noale factory also became the top constructor of the weekend after a near-perfect Americas GP for Aprilia.

Who looks good ahead of the Spanish GP?

There are many key players for this weekend in Jerez, and many expect Martin, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) to fight at the front. However, these are the three most expensive riders in the game and will take a big chunk of your budget away.

However, Viñales could be a great alternative, sitting at 2.6M and in third position in the Championship standings. Acosta is also one of the riders on fire and could also be seen as a good economical alternative, with the #31 valued at 2.1M.

After crashing out of the lead at the Americas GP, Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) is currently valued at 2.8M. The eight-time World Champion will be aiming for redemption at the Spanish GP, at a venue that the #93 has won three times before.

Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) could be a strong pick for the Spanish GP, with the Aussie currently valued at 2.10M. Miller finished on the podium last year, alongside his teammate Binder.

Finally, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing test rider Dani Pedrosa will make a wildcard appearance at the Spanish GP and could be the steal of the weekend – valued at 1.6M. Pedrosa made an appearance last year at the Spanish GP, finishing in a remarkable seventh place.

Numerous options are available to find a winning combination, and you can explore them all on the MotoGP™ Fantasy page.

The Spanish Grand Prix gets underway on Friday, with action starting from 09:00 local time (UTC +1). Make sure you tune in then on motogp.com!
